Artist's Comments

Medium: This dragon is made of two part apoxie, foam clay, polymer clay, acrylic paint, glass eyes, wire/foil armature (including in those thin looking sprigs), and a finishing glaze for strength. She feels semi rigid and is very light weight.

Size: 19x13.5x15"

She was for sale for $290 cnd, but has since found a home. If you would like to be part of the waiting list to view the next 'big dragon' when completed (so you have the option of purchase prior to it being posted on my website) email me at creaturesfromel@gmail.com

It's really gorgeous. I was pretty offended when I wondered onto your page to find so few pageviews! You're really flying under the radar. I featured you in my journal a while back, glad to see some of my watchers have added you.

You must have an incredible amount of patience to sculpt every scale, let alone put them together like that. I would buy one in a heartbeat if I had the opportunity... but my parents never liked the idea of buying things from across the country.
Your level of detail is just amazing! :D

"Hehehehehe."
Wow...I'm guessing you only made one? How long did it take?

So take your gloves and get out! Better get out, while you can...
Gorgeous. I can't even begin to imagine how much work that would have taken.
That's a beautiful creature you sculpted.
